Pupil Voice and Action
Class Council
Two children from each KS2 class are selected by their peers to form the class council. They meet to discuss key issues in school, to share the opinion of other pupils and to communicate what they are doing to their peers. Two of the children will represent the school at termly meetings of the School Council to promote collaboration across Glossop schools.
Church Council
Two children from each KS2 class are selected by their peers to form the Church council. They meet to ensure that the school maintains it’s distinctive Christian ethos. They will gather the opinions of other children, contribute to the SIAMS school evaluation and lead Open Worship on both school sites each term.
ECO Team
Two children from each KS2 class are selected by their peers to form the ECO Team. They are responsible for ensuring that all pupils respect the school environment. They also promote key events, raise funds to help improve the environment and take part in key environmental award schemes (e.g., John Muir Awards)
